Linux（CentOS5.6）がリブート時に停止してしまう。(shutdown -r 0 時に途中で停止する)

Intel Atom Processor D525搭載のIntelマザーボードD525MWを使って省電力PCを作成中、CentOS5.6をインストールすると、リブート時に途中で停止してしまう現象に遭遇した。

※ 「Restarting system.」で停止してしまう。ごくたまに成功する。

２，３度再インストールしたが、改善されず困っていたら、なんと、IntelマザーボードD525MWのBIOSに問題があった模様。

対象のマザーボードはD525MW, D525MWV, D425KT, D425KTWのようである。
  
BIOS ver. MWPNT10N.86A.0069.2010.0913.1432から 0074 へアップデートを行ったら
  
正常にリブートできるようになった。
